Whether you prefer quantized or unquantized performances, Flip caters to your needs with the option to record on pads or keyboard. Additionally, a full piano roll is available for precise note and velocity editing.
Bring your sounds to life by recording knob movements or drawing automation by hand. Each automation lane can have its own unique length, opening up possibilities for polymetric and generative music.
To create a dynamic arrangement, Flip allows you to create up to 16 different sections for your song. Simply drag and drop them into any order that suits your creative vision.
Complete your tracks without ever leaving your phone with the mixing and mastering tools provided by Flip. Export your full track or record the live output while making real-time tweaks. Both options even allow you to capture individual track stems.
The performance page in Flip enables you to trigger patterns live, while offering control over a global filter, assignable pitch bends, reverb sends, and even a random fill generator.
Artist packs, featuring original sounds and projects from renowned artists such as Andrew Huang, Cuckoo, Chuck Sutton, Kilamanzego, Pusher, and more, are available in-app for $3.99 or less. A constantly expanding selection ensures a wide range of creative possibilities.
